Ovaj odgovor Švedjana je blago rečeno čudan.
Belgijanci traže sveobuhvatnu podršku u eksploataciji koji Švedska ne može da pruži zato što nema političku osnovu za to!??
Da nije to ona priča da će im ukinuti podršku ako ga Belgijanci budu koristili u operacijama koje se kose sa moralno-etičkim nazorima Švedske?

Uglavnom, najbolja zamena za F-16 je F-16 .
Objektivno pored F-35 treba im samo jeftina platforma koja će zaista i biti korišćena u nekom mlaćenju terorista dok će F-35 najverovatnije samo pozirati.
Sa F-16 imaju itekako iskustva u održavanju i letenju tako da bi on odlično obavio posao.

Citat:Belgian Defense Minister Steven Vandeput confirmed today (Sept. that France did not respond to the call for tenders for the replacement of the F-16 fighters, but instead made a direct proposal to Belgium.

Speaking on Belgium’s Radio 1, Vandeput did not, however, indicate whether the French offer would be taken into account. "We must first consider the legal status of this proposal," he said.

By the deadline Thursday night, only two candidates have formally responded: Lockheed Martin, with the F-35A Lightning II, and the Eurofighter consortium with the Typhoon.
Na tender su se do roka prijavili LM i Eurofighter consortium. A Francuzi se nisu. Prava igranka.

Belgium eyes British, U.S. jets; French offer under legal scrutiny

Belgium invited government-led proposals in March for the replacement of its fleet of Lockheed Martin F-16 planes with 34 new fighters, in a deal that could be worth more than 3.5 billion euros ($4.2 billion).

The 34 jets are to be delivered from 2023, at a rate of 4-5 aircraft a year.

Kolega reče: Ovaj odgovor Švedjana je blago rečeno čudan.

Koliko se sećam oni ni na naš upit nisu poslali odgovor kad smo se kao nešto interesovali pre par godina. Valjda tamo neko oceni ko je ozbiljan makar malo a ko se igra ponuda. Neće da budu ikebana u igri gde se zapravo već sve sigurno zna. Možda.
