Bugarska je dogovorila da joj Španija pomogne u čuvanju VaP-a, tako što će uskoro da u Bugarsku stigne 8 Eurofajtera španskog vazduhoplovstva. Prenosi RTS.

Awaiting F-16s, Bulgaria closes in on interim fighter potentially from Sweden or France
Citat:“Sweden and France have responded favorably to our request,” the spokesperson said. “We have initiated talks with [both]… to explore the possibilities for [the] interim fighter acquisition. We have not received any offers yet.”
Sweden could offer Saab JAS 39 Gripen C/D aircraft with France in a position to either pitch its Mirage 2000 or Rafale jets.
Both the Swedish and French governments have not responded to requests for comment.

Минобороны Болгарии подтвердило болгарскому новостному агентству БТА, что София внесла первый взнос за поставку второй партии из восьми истребителей F-16C/D Блок.70. Установленный американской стороной срок платежа истекал 15 декабря.

Ceski Aero Vodochody dobili ugovor za modernizaciju 2 L-39ZA

Bulgarian Air Force L-39s to be modernised and overhauled
Citat:The Czech company Aero Vodochody has secured a contract for the overhaul and modernisation of the L-39ZA Albatros training and light attack aircraft from the Bulgarski Voenno Vzdushni Sili (BVVS, Bulgarian Air Force).
The original Russian avionics will be replaced by Western ones, so the navigation, communication, identification and recording equipment will be modernised. Also the engines and the Safir auxiliary launch unit will be overhauled.
The now secured contract concerns the first two L-39s that are expected to arrive in Czechia at the end of January 2023. Completion of the overhaul and modernisation is expected in 2024 and afterwards the aircraft will fly back to Bulgaria.
It is reported that the upgraded L-39s can fly 7,5 years or 1,500 flight hours.

A inace dobili su jedan motor iz Poljske,pa bi jos jedan
Bulgarian Defence Ministry Opens Tender for Repair of Six MiG-29 Engines
Citat:The Defence Ministry has opened a public procurement procedure for the repair of six engines for MiG-29 fighter jets, shows a BTA check in the public procurement register. The deadline for submitting documents for participation is May 3. The estimated cost is BGN 19.2 million inclusive of VAT.
The repair works are supposed to restore the aircraft’s inter-repair resource and inter-repair service term. Each engine must take no more than nine months to repair.
Citat:On March 31, Bulgaria received a MiG-29 engine from Poland, and a contract is about to be concluded with that country for a second engine.
