Odobrena im je kupovina 4 AH-1Z takodje 8 UH-60M naoruzanih ali izgleda da nabavljaju jedan od ova dva, ne oba tipa.

Czechia has requested for the AH-1Z Vipers in a USD 205 million contract that involves the four helicopters equipped with T700-GE-701D engines, Embedded Global Positioning Systems (GPS) with Inertial Navigation and Precise Positioning Service (PPS), and fourteen AGM-114 Hellfire and M197 machine guns. Also included in the possible contract are communication equipment, electronic warfare systems, Target Sight System, spare parts, (technical and logistical) support and (pilot, maintenance) training.

On the same day the announcement was made concerning a determination approving a possible FMS of twelve UH-60M Black Hawk helicopters in an estimated USD 800 million contract. In this Black Hawk deal twenty-eight T700-GE-701D engines (4 spares) and twenty-nine Embedded Global Positioning Systems with Inertial Navigation are involved. The Black Hawks are requested with fifteen AN/AAR-57(V)3 Common Missile Warning System (CMWS), communication systems and loads of advanced systems and sensors like Radar Warning Receivers, TACAN, transponders, Laser Warming Systems, Radios, Iridium sat-phones and Rover (for comms with Unmanned Aerial Systems), Night Vision Goggles, Emergency Locator Transmitters, Airborne Command and Control Systems, Laser Designators, Head-Up-Displays. If the Blackhawk deal is continued, Czechia want to make a true gunship our of the Black Hawks as they requested 24 M240H machine guns, 114 Advanced Precision Kill Weapon Systems (APKWS), 24) M134D Mini Guns, GAU-19B Machine Guns, twelve M261 rocket launchers for 2.75 inch air-to-ground rockets, all delivered with a massive number of ammunition as armament. Of course, likewise the possible AH-1Z deal, the whole UH-60M contract will be delivered with technical and logistical support and pilot, maintenance training.

This US State Department notice of a potential sale does not mean the sale has been concluded yet.

Czechia to Buy Twelve Helicopters for €560
Citat:Prime Minister Andrej Babiš today visited the 22nd helicopter base at Sedlec, near Náměšť nad Oslavou. Accompanied by Minister of Defense Lubomír Metnar, the Chief of the General Staff of the Army, General Aleš Abbata, and Air Force Commander Major General Petr Hromek, he became acquainted with the activities of the base, aviation technology and its tasks.

In addition to inspecting the Mi-24/35, Mi-171Š and W-3A Sokol currently used by Czech soldiers, the main goal of the visit was to discuss the twelve new helicopters whose acquisition is one of the main strategic armament projects.

“I was acquainted in detail with the acquisition of new helicopters. It should be four battle and eight transport modern machines. Soldiers need them. We want to make the purchase as soon as possible. Deliveries should start in 2023,” said Prime Minister Babiš.

“We reviewed the offers received, and based on military recommendations, we decided on a buy that includes eight UH-1Y Venom multi-purpose helicopters and four AH-1Z Viper attack helicopters. We would like to conclude the contract by the end of the year,” said Minister Metnar.

“Based on the recommendations of the expert committee, we have assessed that the system that is named H-1, which is a combination of Venom and Viper helicopters, looks best. This configuration offers all the capabilities we required,” added General Opata.

The contract is worth 14.5 billion crowns (approx. €560 million at today’s rate—Ed.). The price includes helicopters, weapons equipment, ammunition, maintenance and training of personnel.

After completing the necessary procedural steps within the Ministry of Defense, Lubomír Metnar will submit a proposal to conclude the government-to-government contract to the Czech government.

Two offers for the purchase of helicopters were received by the Department from the US government in late June. Americans offered either 12 multipurpose helicopters UH-60M Black Hawk, or eight multipurpose machines UH-1Y Venom along with four combat AH-1Z Viper.

Mudar potez Ceske. UH-1Y i AH-1Z imaju 85% zajednickih delova.

Bezveze, osim marinaca nitko UH-1Y nije kupovao. Bolje bi prošli za UH60M. Za iste pare.

Sta ima veze ko je kupovao, a ko nije...kupili su transportni i borbeni helikopter koji imaju 85% zajednickih delova. Logistika svedena na minimum, proverene platforme, cena nije previsoka. Da su kupili UH-60 ili AH-64, bilo bi 3 puta skuplje. A zele da se rese ex-SSSR helikoptera.

С тим што ће ипак морати да докупљују хеликоптере јер овај број сигурно није довољан.

Ako uspoređujem Češku i Slovačku vojsku ili barem nabave vojne opreme, Slovaci mi se više sviđaju.
Slovačka Patrija je sigurno bolja od Pandura, F16V od Gripena, a i Blackhawk od UH1Y.

Nemože se uspoređivati po opremi UH-1Y i golac UH-60M. UH-60M (Armed Black Hawk) sa opremom UH-1Y sigurno košta 50% više od UH-1Y.

janezek67 ::Ako uspoređujem Češku i Slovačku vojsku ili barem nabave vojne opreme, Slovaci mi se više sviđaju.
Slovačka Patrija je sigurno bolja od Pandura, F16V od Gripena, a i Blackhawk od UH1Y. Česi su lovce i APC nabavljali pre cca 10 godina. Slovaci to tek treba da dobiju. Ja bi radije da imam Gripen E od F-16 blok 70. Više paše našoj vojnoj doktrini i veličini države.
