Sami Rusi su rekli da je u trenutku kada je izvezen SU-30MKI bio "bolji" od bilo cega u njihovom naoruzanju. A Saudijci su dobili M1A2 dve godine pre nego sto je usao u masovnu upotrebu u Americi.

Jeli bolji od Su-30SM? Nemožeš uspoređivati Su-27 VVS sa SU-30 MKI. Nema ni USAF boljeg F-16 od F-16 block 60 za UAE. Nažalost Rusija zbog lošeg gospodarskog stanja nije bila u stanju nabavljati Su-30 u vreme kada su ih nabavljali u Indiji. Nije avion kao takav loši več oprema aviona nije jednaka kod Rusa i eksport verzija.

Postoje naoružanja za koja nisu stavili neka ograničenja ni Rusi, ni Amerikanci prilikom prodaje stranim kupcima, a sve sa ciljem ostvarivanja što većeg profita. Tamo gde može biti neke razlike su PVO sistemi velikog dometa i balističke i krstareće rakete. Eventualno prilikom prodaje nekih brodova i podmornica. Kad je reč o transferu tehnologije, tu je druga priča jer se ključne tehnologije proizvode i šalju kao gotovi proizvodi. Dok je samo sklapanje nekog aviona, tenka itd. je druga priča.

With a final agreement reached on offsets, India and France are likely to sign a protocol by the end of this month to buy 36 Rafales and thereafter the price negotiations will follow, leading to a final deal in the next four to six months, the MoD the source added.

India confirms order for IAF's Rafale deal with France

Citat:The Indian Air Force's quest for a Medium Multi Role Combat Aircraft (MMRCA) is finally over with the Indian government confirming the order for 36 Rafale jets with the French government.

According to sources, documents for the government-to-government deal were delivered by New Delhi to Paris on New Year's eve, and the agreement is on the same lines as that for the Mirage 2000 aircraft signed in the early 1980s. French Minister to carry Rafale brief

Citat:French Defence Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian is scheduled to visit India shortly to oversee the conclusion of the inter-governmental agreement for direct purchase of 36 Rafale fighter jets and clear the path for signing the final agreement.

Informed sources said Mr. Drian was visiting India specifically for the Rafale deal and was likely to be in Delhi on January 18.
