Sad se trazi samo jednomotorni za make in India za zamenu MIG-21. A Tejas ubogi ?

Znaci Gripen, sad da li C/D ili E/F ili prebacivanje linije za F-16 i pravljenje Block60/70 ili kako god ga nazovu...

Ovde bi Lokid kao suvlasnik FA-50 trebao da ga ubaci kao dzokera ako budu naginjali ka Gripenu, nesto slabiji avion ali mogu da daju duplo manju cenu, ili da ponude F-50.

Mogli bi u GD zajedno sa KAI da im nude FA-50 sa motorom F414, radar SABR sa dodatnom elektronikom (ometanje i situation awareness) te širu paletu naoružanja. Sa proizvodnjom F-16 je ionako manje više gotovo. To bi onda bilo konkurentno Gripenu. Još da im ponude licenciju sklapanja pa da Indijci odbace Tejas, ki verovatno neće nikad ugledati brojnije serijske proizvodnje.

Pa to ti je F-50, nema nekih posebno krupnih izmena, samo izbacivanje jednog sedista, F-404 se menja sa F-414 bez problema( predvidjeno od pocetka) i dodaju se jos dve tacke za oruzje. Indija bi bila dovoljno veliki narucilac da se uradi ta verzija, a i Vijetnam ima preko 100 MIG-21 i vec su gledali FA-50.

Sweden’s SAAB sweetens deal for Gripen jet
Citat:In an aggressive push to capture a share in India’s fighter aircraft market, Swedish aerospace major SAAB has offered its latest radar technology as part of the Gripen fighter package along with significant technology transfer in addition to design consultancy for developing the Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Mk-1A which the Indian Air Force (IAF) plans to induct in large numbers.

The move comes even as India is looking to select a single engine fighter aircraft to be built in India in large numbers under the ‘Make in India’ initiative.

Explaining the developments in Advanced Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) radar, Lars Tossman, vice-president & Head of Communications of SAAB said that they were the first company to develop an AESA radar with Gallium Nitride which, he said, significantly enhances its efficiency and performance over the current AESA radars.

“We will be willing to share this and transfer the technology to India,”

Boeing se nada za SH
Boeing says IAF inquiry for twin-engine fighter coming soon, hopes to build 200 in India
Citat:A Boeing official based in India said he is expecting New Delhi to issue a new request-for-information (RFI) to build twin-engine fighters in the country.
Pratyush Kumar said the company had received an RFI for single-engine fighter but the company has nothing to offer.
Kumar added that Boeing is willing to establish a state-of-the-art facility to build the Super Hornet in the country.

F18 SH je najbolji multirole sto moze zapad da ponudi, u kombinaciji za Su30MKI bio bi jos ubitacnij,mozda nije bolji za dogfight ali Indijci vec imaju Sukoi za to tako da F18SH imao bi prvenstveno ulogu bombardera pravi ratni konj ..
