Kineski balon koji je prošle godine preleteo niz amerikih vojnih baza, je osim senzorskih i komunikacionih komponenti kineske proizvodnje, imao i američke, dostupne za nabavku preko neta. Ušlo se u trag kupcima- očekivano, tvrdi se da je reč o firmama povezanim sa kineskom vladom.
Ovo je objavio Vol strit džornal, pozivajući se na "anonimne izvore " iz vlade.

US fighter jets intercept high-altitude balloon

The balloon, detected floating between 43,000 and 45,000 feet, raised concerns leading to NORAD’s intervention over Utah. However, after investigation, it was determined that the balloon was not maneuverable and posed no risk to national security or flight safety, as confirmed by both NORAD and the FAA.
“The balloon was intercepted by NORAD fighters over Utah, who determined it was not maneuverable and did not present a threat to national security. NORAD will continue to track and monitor the balloon,” NORAD said in a statement.

South Korean KA-1 shot down unidentified balloon in March

The balloon, measuring approximately two meters in diameter, was detected by the Marine Corps stationed on Baengnyeong Island near the Northern Limit Line (NLL) – the de facto inter-Korean maritime border.
Sources familiar with the situation reported that the balloon lacked any visible means of propulsion and drifted erratically across the NLL, prompting a response. A KA-1 light attack aircraft was scrambled from a nearby front line base and successfully engaged the balloon, bringing it down. Recovery efforts at sea were reportedly unsuccessful.
Military officials speculate that the balloon originated from North Korea, given its proximity to the NLL. However, they haven’t ruled out the possibility of it originating from China, citing recent incidents of suspected Chinese spy balloons being spotted over the United States and Taiwan.
