ATAC receives final refurbished Mirage fighters
Citat:Airborne Tactical Advantage Company (ATAC), a US tactical air training, threat simulation, and R&D provider, has received all 63 Mirage F1 combat aircraft it purchased from France in 2017 following an extensive refurbishment and upgrade effort, it announced on 2 April.
The fleet is now fully operational with the completion of the work that has taken place at the company’s Adversary Center of Excellence (ACE) facility at the Fort Worth Alliance Airport in Texas.
As noted by Jane’s All the World’s Aircraft , Textron retrofitted around 45 of the F1s with modern avionics systems such as digital radio-frequency memory-jamming capabilities and upgraded radars. ATAC plans to use the Mirages for the US Air Force (USAF) Adversary Air (ADAIR) requirement, which requires almost 150 aircraft to fulfil the service's Red Air training needs.
With its newly acquired Mirages, ATAC fields a fast jet fleet that also comprises the Hawker Hunter, IAI F-21 Kfir, and Aero Vodochody L-39ZA.

TAS(Tactical Air Support) modernizuje bivse jordanske F-5
Letece za americku mornaricu
Upgraded F-5 Flies with Garmin G3000
Citat:A Northrop F-5E Tiger II has recently made its first flight after being upgraded with the Garmin G3000 integrated flight deck, complete with dual Garmin touchscreen controllers (GTCs), Garmin International revealed. The aircraft is one of the fleet operated by Tactical Air Support, which undertook the modernization work. The G3000 has been employed in the Textron Scorpion and Diamond DART-550, but the F-5 is the first supersonic fighter application.
Citat:The aircraft is expected to begin flying adversary training missions for the U.S. Navy in the second quarter of 2019, and the remainder of the Tactical Air fleet is due to be similarly upgraded.
Citat:Based at Reno-Stead airfield, Tactical Air Support bought 21 former Royal Jordanian Air Force F-5E/Fs in 2017, which it has upgraded with Nemesis radar and Argus radar warning receivers from Duotech, and a Mason HOTAS (hands on throttle and stick) system. Dubbed F-5AT (Advanced Tiger), the upgraded F-5 completed its FAA airworthiness certification program following Phase I modification in late April 2018, flying from Jacksonville in Florida. In December the company secured a five-year contract to provide adversary training to the U.S. Navy, primarily in support of the Naval Fighter Weapons School (“Topgun”) at NAS Fallon, Nevada. Tactical Air also operates the Canadair-built CF-5D, EMB-312 Tucano, and Siai-Marchetti SF.260.

Jedni kupuju od drugih...
Citat:Former QinetiQ Alpha Jets sold to Top Aces Inc
On 28 June 2019, the Canadian firm Top Aces Inc (Montreal) registered three former QinetiQ Alpha Jets. Registrations are C-FTOK (ex RAF ZJ646, German AF 98+55, German AF 41+71), C-GTOJ (ex RAF ZJ647, German AF 98+71, German AF 41+55) and C-GVTA (ex RAF ZJ648, German AF 98+09, German AF 40+09).
QinetiQ (formerly known as Defence Evaluation and Research Agency – DERA, which was privatised in June 2001) had bought twelve former German Air Force Alpha Jets in the late 1990s because there were no BAe Hawks available and new Hawks would be too expensive. The former German AF Alpha Jets could be obtained at short notice and also at a bargain price. All Alpha Jets received RAF serials, but only seven were used for flying duties. The remaining five aircraft were used for spare parts. After rework at Dornier GmbH at Furstenfeldbruck (Germany), the aircraft were delivered to the United Kingdom. The first Alpha Jet was taken in service in March 2000 and served to late January 2018.
Top Aces Inc has a fleet of twenty former German Air Force Alpha Jets and these are used for an array of different tasks, like Day and Night Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC) training, Adversary Support and Anti-Shipping Attack Training for Naval forces, 'Red Air' Adversary Support for Fighter Forces, Air-to-Air Gunnery Target Tow and Electronic Warfare Training.

Skyline Aviation Flies First Commercial 4th Gen “Red Air” In Europe
Citat:Between 26 June and 14 July, Skyline Aviation supports the air-to-air phase of the multinational Fighter Weapons Instructor Training (FWIT) course with 4th Generation “Red Air” operating out of Leeuwarden air base in the Netherlands. Dubbed the North Sea Aggressors, this adversary support scheme using the Aero L-159E Advanced Light Combat Aircraft (ALCA) is a first in Europe. This year the experienced Dutch aerial services provider also marks another milestone: 25 years of providing support to government and corporate clients with high performance aircraft.
Hosted by the Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) at Leeuwarden air base, the 2017 edition of FWIT aims to train sixteen F-16 fighter pilots of the European Participating Air Forces (EPAF) of Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway and Portugal in becoming weapon instructors. Using cost efficient contracted air services brings significant financial benefits to these air forces as it enables them to train more effectively with their own fighter assets.
Committed to providing high training value during FWIT, Skyline Aviation cooperates with Draken International, the US company that owns the world’s largest commercial fleet of ex-military aircraft. Both parties have recently agreed upon an exclusive partnership aimed at those EPAF countries that are situated in Northwestern Europe. Four virtually brand-new Aero L-159E combat aircraft boasting 4th Generation capabilities, yet having low operational costs, are fully integrated in the ongoing training course and provide daily, realistic air combat training. Having the ability to replicate modern air-to-air missiles, the highly capable aircraft are equipped with Leonardo’s GRIFO-L pulse-doppler radar and Sky GUARDIAN 200 radar warning receivers, and Thales’ VICON 78 Series 455 countermeasures dispensing system, hereby simulating advanced threat aircraft.
