Avion je još u razvoju i logično da za one, koji nisu člani konzorcija je cena već u startu viša.

Sto se tice svajcarske nabavke F-35 i Patriota.
6.035 milijardi franaka su 36 F-35A.
3.828 milijardi je 36 aviona
1.927 milijardi je logistika, zemaljska oprema, dokumentacija, obuka i tehncika podrska
107 miliona za oruzje
86 miliona za obuku i planirane misija
82 za pokrivanje tehnickih rizika, avioni ce biti standardne konfiguracije kao za ostale musterije
5 miliona za mogucu inflaciju

Uslovi su isti kao za F-35.
Svajcarska dobija offset poslove u vrednosti 4.2 milijarde franaka.
Lokid ucestvuje sa 2.9 milijardi, od cega ce 1 milijarda biti direktna ulaganja, odnosno narudzbe od svajcarskih firmi, a u vezi sa nabakom aviona.
Raytheon ulaze 1.3 milijarde, od cega 260 miliona franaka direktnog offseta.
Offseti moraju biti ispunjeni najkasnije u roku od 4 godine.

Swiss Hornets complete first stage of service life extension upgrade
Citat:The Swiss Air Force fleet of F/A-18 Hornet fighters has completed the first stage of service life extension upgrades that are being undertaken to allow them to remain in service until the next-generation F-35 fighters arrive.
The upgrades, which were approved by parliament in 2017, will cost 450 million francs (approx. $486M) and are necessary to keep the Hornets operationally relevant until around 2030.
As part of the first stage of the upgrades, the Hornets have received upgrades to communication, navigation and identification friend or foe (IFF) systems.
Additionally, CAE provided upgrades for the SHOTS operational training system. SHOTS consists of four fully networked mission simulators designed for immersive mission training. CAE updated the current visual system to L3 Link’s SimuSphere HD 9-facet visual system display, while the trainers were updated with the latest operational flight program (OFP) and include a complete technology refresh of thehardware and software systems.
A new night vision device was procured for integration in the multifunctional helmet and is already being used in night flight training.

Swiss Air Force F-35A Lightning II Fighter Jets Could be Built in Cameri, Italy
Citat:A delegation from armasuisse led by National Armaments Director Martin Sonderegger is visiting the Italian National Armaments Director in Cameri, Italy for bilateral talks in connection with the Air2030 programme. They will be discussing whether a part of the future Swiss F-3A fighter jets can be manufactured in Italy. The exchange will focus on whether it will be possible to have a part of the future F-35-A fleet of the Swiss Air Force produced in Cameri, Italy. During their visit, the delegation will also gain an insight into the production and maintenance plant in Cameri. Among other things, the programme will include discussions on the current status of the F-35 programme as well as the planned offset activities of Lockheed Martin in Switzerland. The possibility of production of the future F-35A of the Swiss Air Force in Cameri, Italy will also be discussed.

Move to Block Swiss F-35 Purchase Gains Support
Citat:A Swiss alliance seeking to block the purchase of F-35 fighter jets said Friday it had received nearly enough support to put the controversial military contract to a referendum.
The left-wing Stop F-35 alliance said it had almost secured the 100,000 signatures required under Switzerland’s direct democracy system to force an issue to a vote.
The consortium has said it does not want the jets because they are costly, and because of a number of technical issues reported with the planes.
