По его информации, Thales Alenia Space также выразила готовность организовать в стране подготовку инженеров и операторов для развивающейся в Туркмении космической отрасли.
В ноябре прошлого года в национальном спутниковом агентстве "Туркмен хемрасы" заявляли, что республика заинтересована во втором спутнике, так как действующий спутник связи "ТуркменАлем" уже отработал половину срока службы.

The satellite is said to have a high-resolution imaging camera mounted on board.
HORUS-1 satellite will be a prelude of series of new remote sensing satellites.
HORUS-1 observation/remote sensing satellite has been developed by Egyptian & Chinese expertise to localize satellite manufacturing technology within the framework of strategic cooperation between the two countries in the space field.
Egypt has established recently the Satellite Assembly, Integration & Test Center (AITC) in the New Capital To manufacture main components of observation satellites, including space optics systems, electronic components, opto-mechanical support systems and remote-sensing systems.

All technical details and the actual owner/operator of the SAT hadn't been disclosed.

Raytheon to make seven missile-tracking satellites for US space agency


The U.S. Space Development Agency has awarded Raytheon Technologies a $250 million contract to build seven missile-tracking satellites.


The satellites, which will feature a wide-field-of-view sensor that can detect and track hypersonic weapons from space, were paid for by a funding increase in the fiscal 2023 Appropriations Act and will launch as part of the agency’s Tranche 1 Tracking Layer. The contract was signed “late last week,” according to an SDA spokesperson.

“Developing a resilient and affordable proliferated satellite constellation in low-Earth orbit will improve our ability to track emerging threats like hypersonic missiles,” Dave Broadbent, president of space and command and control at Raytheon Intelligence and Space, said in a March 2 statement.

ST Engineering Launches Its First SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) Satellite
Citat:Singapore – ST Engineering today announced that it has launched its first polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (PolSAR) satellite, TeLEOS-2. Developed in partnership with Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (on behalf of Government of Singapore), TeLEOS-2 features a made-in-Singapore SAR payload and is able to capture both day and night images under all-weather conditions in high resolutions, with full polarimetry for a wider range of satellite data applications. This will enhance ST Engineering’s commercial satellite imagery solutions, providing multi-modal and high responsiveness features to its customers.

Operating in near-equatorial orbit (NEqO) at 10 degrees inclination, the satellite offers 1m high-resolution imagery with an average of 14 passes a day, offering enhanced and wider coverage of many major shipping routes, as well as disaster-prone and forest-fire regions. This provides numerous opportunities for customers in applications such as disaster monitoring and management, environmental monitoring, natural resource exploration and management, climate change and weather studies.

Notably, the PolSAR payload allows the satellite to penetrate cloud and precipitation and capture both day and night images under all-weather conditions. This also allows for improved monitoring, mapping and quantification, as well as multiparameter details of different surfaces.

Egyptian Space Agency (EgSA) reveals a plan to launch a Chinese-built satellite for Egypt later this year in addition to launching another satellite in January which will be assembled in Germany and launched from China.
Horus satellites are multi-purpose for civil and military uses, and regarding the two new sats, there's no much details about them yet.

Singapore will launch a second SAR satellite into space this month
Citat:Singapore is set to launch another Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) satellite into space this month using the Indian-made PSLV-CA rocket. The launch is scheduled to take place on Jul. 23.
The satellite, named DS-SAR, was constructed by Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) and will be jointly operated by the Singaporean government’s Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) and commercially operated by ST Electronics.
