Mali update za Iron Dome od proslog vikenda

Od 31 rakete koja je gadjana oboreno 28. 90+ raketa nije uopste gadjano jer je sistem procenio da ne predstavljaju opasnost(pale van naseljenog podrucja)

Najava Block 2 i Block 3 Iron Dome

Beyond that, it's important to note that the system is upgraded on a smaller scale on an ongoing basis. The minute we discover a problem or fault, we fix it and improve immediately, such that if there were to be an escalation tomorrow, we won't have any problems because of that small detail. In many cases, waiting until the next version is unveiled is not an option".

After the development of the second stage, which is expected to end in the middle of next year, the third stage of the system's development (Block 3) is expected. The third stage will include the improvement of control capabilities of the system. Izgleda da će mu produžiti arsenal protiv koga će moči da uspešno dejstvuje i na letelice. Verovatno će biti popunjen dvema vrstama raketa, protiv balistićkih, krstarečih projektila i letelica.
Blok 2 će verovatno imati mogučnost branjenja od podzvučnih ili iznad zvučnih projektila te letelica do cca 1,5 maha. Dok će Blok 3 verovatno moči prestrezati i projektile velikih brzina iznad 1,5 maha. A to znači da će se umreživati sa radarima srednjeg dosega i povećati doseg samih raketa kojima se pune kontejneri Iron Dome.

Spomenuto je bilo ranije povecanje dometa.
