Daleko smo još od SF i pulsnih lasera koji u stotinki sekunde unište cilj. Neko prepravio video. Zato je formatu ime animirani GIF.

Zato su Amerikanci naoružali prvu jedinicu PVO laserskim sistemima. Doduše još uvek opitno.

Gargantua ::Po svemu sudeći izraelski "Čelični zrak" je pušten u rad.
Путања ракете која је наводно гађана више личи на "Челичну куполу". Споро сагорева, мало дима, мања брзина.
Склепане ракете Хамаса брзо сагоре и имају доста дима.

Тако да је одбљесак на камери логичније објашњење.

DragonFire exploits UK technology to be able to deliver a high power laser over long ranges. The precision required is equivalent to hitting a £1 coin from a kilometre away. Laser-directed energy weapons can engage targets at the speed of light, and use an intense beam of light to cut through the target, leading to structural failure or more impactful results if the warhead is targeted.

Firing it for 10 seconds is the cost equivalent of using a regular heater for just an hour. Therefore, it has the potential to be a long-term low-cost alternative to certain tasks missiles currently carry out. The cost of operating the laser is typically less than £10 per shot.

Koliko je ovo nedostizno da zemlja poput Srbije radi na ovakvim stvarima? Vidimo da svi to pokusavaju da usavrse, mozda nebi bilo lose da i mi uz potencijalnu saradnju sa nekom drugom drzavom kojoj bi isto tako trebalo, al nemaju kadar (UAE, Azerbejdzan, Madjarska itd) da razvijemo zajedno, treba pratiti sva desavanja, a vidimo da nasi i jesu posveceni takvim inovacijama (Mali milos, pegaz, pr-dc proizvodi itd)
