Citat:With people conveniently placed around it for scale, this is MBDAGroup’s three-stage Aquila hypersonic interceptor which is being further developed and studied through the European Defence Fund supported HYDIS project.
Odvojiva upravljiva glava slicno kao i drugi projekti.
Citat:HYDIS² is the HYpersonic Defence Interceptor Study proposed by MBDA with a consortium bringing together 19 partners and more than 30 subcontractors across 14 European countries
The members of the consortium are defence groups, institutions, SMEs, mid-caps and universities, all with strong, recognised expertise in the key technologies/areas needed for the purpose of the study of such a new interceptor. The consortium gathers the best competences in the domains of missiles from across the European Union, with the highest aeronautical scientific references, and actors in novel domains to take up the gauntlet of the counter-hypersonic challenge.
Eric Béranger, CEO of MBDA, said: “This project offers a significant European benefit, contributing to European resilience and technological sovereignty by enhancing co-operation and interoperability between EU countries. This project will also contribute to reinforcing the sovereign missile systems industry in Europe, by sustaining and developing critical expertise, technologies and materials; thus boosting European industrial competitiveness. The technologies in the hypersonic domain are evolving, and it is a priority for MBDA to remain at the forefront of innovation, guiding Europe towards the most efficient solution to counter hypersonic threats.”
The objective of HYDIS² is to design various interceptor concepts and mature the associated critical technologies to deliver the best interception solution that fulfils the four member states needs - France, Italy, Germany and The Netherlands - and copes with the European TWISTER capability programme. This is a central element of the contribution of European states to the mission of defence of populations and armed forces, in particular against the emerging hypersonic threats that constitute a radical change from ballistic ones.
France, Germany, Italy and the Netherlands have already confirmed their support and commitment by signing a Letter of Intent and agreeing on Initial Common Requirements.

Citat:Contract for SAMPT-NG for Italian Air Force foresees five new batteries, fitted with Kronos Grand Mobile High Power radar Leonardo (≥300km detect range).
SAMPT-NG is capable to intercept balistic and hypersonic missiles, using MBDA Aster 30B1 and B1NT.

5 novih baterija za 700miliona? To mu dođe 140miliona po bateriji.
+ Spominju se i Aster 30 Block 1NT. WHAT THE BLOCK 1NT BRINGS TO THE ASTER FAMILY ?
Aster 30 Block 1NT modification consists in a new seeker operating in Ka band and a new weapon
controller and retains same size, mass and booster:
Extension of the Extended Air Defence domain
Current Aster 30 Block 1 missile with Ku-band seeker allows for neutralization of 600km range ballistic threats (Scud class)
Aster 30 Block 1NT Ka-band seeker brings:
Increased target acquisition range
Acquisition of targets with lower radar cross section
Thinner angular resolution for increased accuracy of target localisation
Increased direct impact probability
Increased footprint of defended areas
Full compatibility and interoperability across ground and naval systems
All these features bring a step change in capability:
Aster 30 Block 1NT covers the entire SRBM (Short Range Ballistic Missile) threat domain and the entry of the MRBM (Medium Range) domain up to 1.500 km range
Aster 30 Block 1NT is capable of coping with Tactical Ballistic Missiles with separable warheads
Combined use of Ku-band and Ka-band Asters will provide increased resistance to Electronic Counter Measure
Current Aster 30 Block 1NT contract covers:
Development of the new ammunition
Upgrade to the SAMP/T system to allow combined use of Aster 30 Block 1 and Aster 30 Block 1NT
This new programme brings further potential due to family concept of systems:
Currently, Aster 30 is the missile of the PAAMS systems on French and Italian frigates and of
the Sea Viper system on Royal Navy Type 45 destroyers, dedicated to the Anti Air Warfare
mission
Italian Navy has selected Aster systems based on Aster 30 Block 1NT for 5 ships of its new
PPA (Pattugliatori Polivalenti d’Altura) class
Royal Navy has engaged feasibility studies and trials to extend the Sea Viper capability to
cope with the emerging ASBM (Anti -Ship Ballistic Missile) threat
Eur.

Zato mi je malo i bilo čudno. Baš iz tih pisanja(što se videlo u nečijem ugovoru). Pomislio sam da je ovo ceo paket za Italijane i da je bio toliko jer prave delove. Nisam razumeo da je samo za dodatak.
