Jedan od demokratskih članova Senata predlaže da se među hiljadama ilegalnih migranata koji svakodnevno dolaze preko južne granice regrutuju budući pripadnici oružanih snaga. Kao nagradu dobili bi državljanstvo. Izabrali bi se oni koji su sposobni ako imaju "čistu" biografiju. Tako bi se prevazišao manjak vojnika sa kojim se OS suočavaju. Neki drugi se pak pitaju nije li to put do stvaranja dovoljno brojne armije za vođenje III sv rata.
