Finske snage za upravljanje krizama u NATO-ovoj operaciji KFOR-a na Kosovu jačaju se pionirskim timom

Odlukom predsednika Republike od 25. novembra 2022. godine, Finska će od 1. februara 2023. godine rasporediti pionirski tim i nacionalnu jedinicu za podršku u operaciju KFOR-a koju predvodi NATO. Finske snage koje učestvuju u operaciji povećaće se za oko 50 ljudi.
Trenutno, Finci koji služe u operaciji rade kao štabovi i oficiri za vezu u sedištu KFOR-a u Prištini i na području Glogovca. Odjel će biti ojačan od početka februara pionirskim timom i dodatkom zadataka elementa nacionalne podrške (NSE). Ukupna snaga Finskog osoblja će se povećati na približno 70 ljudi u operaciji KFOR.

The troops have taken steps to contain and dissolve an unruly crowd according to the “Crowd Riot Control” technique, and then facilitated the clearing of the area and the restoration of the viability, through the control of the Moldovan Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team of the RC-West.
Recently, the leadership of KFOR Unit of RC-West has been transferred to the 9th Alpine Regiment of the Alpine Brigade 'Taurinense', the most decorated Regiment of the Italian Army's Alpine Troops Command.

Predsednik Srbije Aleksandar Vučić saopštio je danas da je u razgovoru u Beogradu direktoru za strategiju, planiranje i politiku Evropske komande SAD general-majoru Danijelu T. Lasiku zahvalio na racionalnom, odmerenom i profesionalnom postupanju jedinica KFOR-a.

Citat:Kosovo Force Regional Command-East conducted “Operation Avenger Fury,” a multinational, joint Air Assault training exercise that consisted of Soldiers from Türkiye, Austria, Latvia, Finland and the United States near Bobaj Bokes, Kosovo.
During the exercise, squads were dropped into the area via UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters and proceeded with tactical movements toward the objective. This training improved readiness and enhanced interoperability between NATO partner and ally nations.

In the framework of the periodic cooperation meetings, provided for by the directions for implementation of the temporary operating procedures agreement, today at Camp Villaggio Italia, a Commander Level Meeting was held by a delegation of the Regional Command West and East of KFOR and a delegation of the Serbian Armed Forces (SAF).
The focus of the meeting is to coordinate and plan future Synchronised Patrols and discuss any problems along the Administrative Boundary Line (ABL).
