Prema pisanju dnevnika Mađar Hirlap, rusi pripremaju vežbu odgovora na strateški nuklearni udar. Vežba pretpostavlja strateški nuklearni napad i obuhvata odgovor civilnih struktura na ovakvu situaciju koja bi mogla da ugrozi 70 % stanovništva i infrastrukture. Posebna pažnja je posvećena bezbednosti nuklearnih elektrana.
List tvrdi i da nedavna poseta ministra odbrane ostrvu Nova zemlja ima za cilj proveru stanja priprema za nuklearnu probu.

Ovo drugo tek treba potvrditi: verujem da će rusi poštovati Sporazum o ograničenju nuklearnih proba, koji zabranjuje nadzemne probe. Drugim rečima, dozvoljene su samo podzemne probe. Na ovoj lokaciji takvi testovi nisu vršeni a izgradnja objekta za tu svrhu ne može da promakne špijunskim satelitima protivnika, koji se ne bi ustručavao da to i objavi.
Zbog toga mislim da je priča o probi izmišljotina novinara, ili probni balon o mogućem odgovoru rusa na neprekinutu eskalaciju zapada.

Putin orders the Russian military to add 170,000 troops for a total of 1.32 million
Citat:Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday ordered the country’s military to increase the number of troops by nearly 170,000 to a total of 1.32 million, as Moscow’s military action in Ukraine continues into its 22nd month.
Putin’s decree was released by the Kremlin on Friday and took force immediately. It brings the overall number of Russian military personnel to about 2.2 million, including 1.32 million troops.
