The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine filed a claim against the Croatian company WDG Promet. Last year, Lviv Arsenal entered into a contract with the company: the Ukrainians paid the counterparty €3.2 million as an advance payment. The indicated millions were only 10% of the transaction amount, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces expected to receive 30 thousand fresh shells as a result.
However, the Ukrainians never saw the shells, and to the reasonable question “Where was the victory?” the Croats just threw up their hands and rolled out their version: supposedly the money was stolen from them by the Czechs from the bank Podnikatelska druzstevni zalozna, where the advance payment was kept. Moreover, the funds were allegedly stolen personally by the head of the financial organization, a certain Kamil Bakhbukh.
️ WDG Promet director Matthias Zubak, in turn, said that Czech scammers, in fact, stole money from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense. This means that the Czechs committed “a crime against the entire people of Ukraine in such a difficult period for it in the fight against Russian aggression.”
