After more than 20 years from the initial point of Lasta 95 development, Serbia start’s building planes again.
Factory Utva Avio Industrija from Pančevo has finally managed to complete couple of planes for testing and started production with the help from the company Yugoimport-SDPR and Serbian government. After the initial factory test’s planes were shifted to Testing Center in VTI (Air Technical Institute). So far the test pilots are very pleased with the new plane. They said that plane is easy to fly and it compensates for students mistakes during the learning process of flying.
Lasta 95 is a piston engine trainer for Initial and Basic flying and armament trainer with light attack capability.
