Citat:Dubai, 15 November 2017 – The United Arab Emirates Air Force & Air Defence has ordered five Airbus C295 medium transport aircraft.

The agreement, announced at the Dubai Airshow, takes the C295 orderbook past 200, underlining the type’s market leadership in its class.

The aircraft will serve with the UAE Air Force replacing the existing CN235s still in operation. Deliveries will begin in the fourth quarter of 2018.

Gabonski C235M

Citat:Correspondent Bart Stringa visited Sevilla, Spain on 8 March 2018 and pictured this CN235M-100 in striking colours.
The transport aircraft belongs to the Armée de l'Air Gabonaise (Gabon Air Force). The CASA build aircraft is serialled TR-KJE (c/n 044), that reveals that it is not a new aircraft. It was first seen in March 1991, and reported operational in May 1997 at Libreville, Gabon. In January 2017 the bird was also seen at Sevilla, Spain. Probably then and now for maintenance.
