Как сообщает Infodefensa.com, предпочтительной моделью для португальских ВВС является самолет A-29 «Супер Тукано» бразильской Embraer. Речь идет о поставке 12 бывших в эксплуатации учебно-боевых самолетов A-29 «Супер Тукано», находящихся в резерве ВВС Бразилии. Эти самолеты ранее предлагались Уругваю и Украине. Сообщалось, что стоимость каждого самолета с нулевым налетом плюс техническое обслуживание и обучение оценивается в 3,5 млн. долл. Таким образом, общая сумма продажи может превысить 40 млн. долл.
Ограниченный в средствах Уругвай хотел бы получить A-29 безвозмездно или приобрести по минимальной стоимости для замены самолетов IA-58A «Пукара», которые были сняты с вооружения в 2017 году.

Portugalska kompanija OGMA dobila od Embraera licencu/serifikat za odrzavanje A-29 Super Tucano
Jedini su koji su to dobili za sada
Citat: Embraer today announced the beginning of the engagement process for OGMA S.A., the Company’s subsidiary in Portugal, to perform support and maintenance for the A-29 Super Tucano, as well as future modifications to the aircraft to meet the requirements of current and future customers in the region. Thus, OGMA will be the first company in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) to have these capabilities. Currently, OGMA already provides logistical support for the A-29 Super Tucano demonstrator, which has the Portuguese company as its base of operations, allowing technicians to enable demonstration missions around the world for future customers.
With more than 260 units delivered worldwide, the A-29 aircraft has already been selected by more than 15 air forces, including armed forces from EMEA region such as Mali, Mauritania, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, and Angola.

The Philippine Air Force to replace the OV-10 and SF-260TP armed trainers and create a total of 2 squadrons of 12 aircraft each of fixed-wing light attack aircraft.
Currently, the PAF only has 5+1 A-29Bs in service, forming a single-engine fixed-wing light attack squadron (16th Attack Squadron, 15th Strike Wing) together with the SF-260TPs.

The NAF received 2,000 Mk-81 bombs from USA and have used it against terrorists.
Although it is also important to note that the NAF also received 100 "GBU-12 PAVEWAY II" and 100 "GBU-58 PAVEWAY II" tailkits for converting the unguided Mk-81 to a LASER GUIDED BOMB with a nose-mounted laser seeker and fins for guidance.
