With somewhat belated response to this great news ( I've been quite busy at work these couple of weeks) I'm glad to hear that the work is progressing. Is there a possibility to visit the shop? If so, please fell free to send me a private message. For some reason I thought the work was going to be done in Ogden. Are you keeping the original paint scheme as “promised”? What's next, fly back to NJ or stay here in state of Utah? Apologies for so many questions, can not help it. Also I (we) can not wait to see you all next year in Reno! Please say hello to everyone from “Soko O'no” crew. Go Soko!

Help! We think the blue and grey is spot on but the green is not quite right. Does anyone have a color reference; Federal Standard, RLM etc., for the Green camo paint?

Also if you are interested, i can find some other literature as well.

Sokojet, hi.

I have asked about the color and got some information from the person in charge of coloring Galeb. He says the factory that used to make these colors is not making them any more - it is simply not possible to get this information. RAL color scheme with which they painted 23191 does not exist, so what they did is the following: they got some sample and they mixed some colors to match it's color. But he does not remember what was the ratio of mixed colors.
If there will be no other way, I can try to convince him to mix 1kg of the color and write down the ratio of mixed colors. This can be plan B.
Before that I can check with RAL color scheme which color resembles the most the color of 23191.

Technical documents that I've promised you will be uploaded on the web page (I will send you the link in PM) in the next week and you can check if there is anything that helps you.

Maybe one information that is interesting for you: one of the mechanics of 23191's engine is in the US (Ohio-Cincinnati) from February 5th to March 1st. I can provide his contact information if you want.

Bellow is 23191 and color scheme that was made last year. I will let you know about the RAL numbers for this plane.

Thanks, after much head scratching and photo analysis we determine closest colors are:

Dark Green 24102 - (24079 seems to dark. May have been used on some G-4s and later. It may also have been used on some museum examples)
PRU Blue 25107
Grey 26187

We are repainting the green and will post new photos when completed.
