An NRE is the one-time cost to research, develop, design and test a new system. If the U.S. selects the RACR for Taiwan, much of the NRE costs will be shared with South Korea, but if it selects the Northrop Grumman SABR, then NRE costs skyrocket, a second Taiwan defense industry source said.
There are also fears the U.S. will ignore Taiwan’s defense needs and simply select SABR in an effort to provide the U.S. Air Force with two ongoing AESA options for radar upgrades of 350 F-16 Block 40/50 fighters for a $2.8 billion fighter modernization program. This move saves the U.S. money by forcing South Korea and Taiwan to pay for the NRE for both radars.

Čile za sada odustaje od nabavke novih trejnera,a postoji mogućnost modernizacije njihovih F-16.

Ameri u Maroku (Ben Guerir AFB) na vezbi Majestic Eagle 2013.


Citat:Airmen from the Royal Moroccan Air Force and the U.S. Air Force united at Ben Guerir Air Base, Morocco, April 15, for Majestic Eagle 2013, a bi-lateral training exercise, which will continue through April 26, 2013.
The exercise brings Airmen from both countries together to train on air interdiction, air superiority, air refueling and reconnaissance with the intent of enhancing their interoperability through tactical training.
According to U.S. Air Force Maj. Gerremy Goldsberry, Majestic Eagle 2013 director of operations, interoperability of the air forces is critical.
"As allies, we could be called upon to fight in a conflict together," Goldsberry said. "Having knowledge of how one another trains and fights gives insight into how we would integrate and operate as a combined force."
"Each and every Airman, Moroccan or American is vital to accomplishing this training," he added.
Personnel and F-16s from the 510th Fighter Squadron, Aviano AB, Italy, and KC-135 Stratotankers from Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England, are deployed in support of the exercise. More than 150 U.S. Airmen are participating in the exercise.

Jedno pitanje,posto sam laik po pitanju vojnih zracni snaka,moze li mi neko da kaze zbog cega se isporucuju avioni drugim zemljama sa oznakom americkog ratnog zrakoplovstva?? primjetio sam mislim i da je na jednom f35 isporucenog britancima bila oznaka us air force-a?

Dobijes ih odma sa svojim oznakama. U ovom slucaju birokratija, zavisi da li vazduhoplov stize direktno iz Americke fabrike ili ne. Ako je sastavljen negde drugde, kao sto je bio slucaj sa egipatskim sastavljenim u turskom TAI onda oni ne mogu da ih dostave direktno Egiptu nego ih prvo formalno isporucuju USAF-u a ovih ih prosledjuju Egiptu, naprimer. Ima i varijacija na temu...

F-35 nije isporucen nikome, svi su jos na testiranju u Americi.

Имамо пример када су саудијски авиони Торнадо стигли у УК на модернизацију. Током процеса модернизације биле су им нанете УК ронделе а саудијске ознаке сакривене налепницама. Наравно савко мало боље упућен је знао да су то саудијски авиони због карактеристичне маскирне шеме.
