Jos jedan nov-Mojave
General Atomics unveils new ‘Mojave’ drone with 16 Hellfire missiles
Citat:With the ability to carry 16 Hellfire missiles and take off and land in a dirt road, the new Mojave drone revealed today by General Atomics is designed to perform in dirty and dangerous environments where enemies are hiding.
But first, it just needs to find a customer.
The original idea behind Mojave — officially disclosed today, about a month after Breaking Defense first reported on it — was to build a drone that special operators could take into austere conditions that had a larger payload than the company’s MQ-1C Gray Eagle used by the Army, said Dave Alexander, president of General Atomics aeronautics business.

Mojave Drone Flies From British Aircraft Carrier
General Atomics’ Mojave short take off and landing drone has gone to sea aboard the Royal Navy aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales.
he Mojave drone, specifically developed with the ability to perform short takeoffs and landings, including from rough fields, with minimal support, has begun experimental operations aboard the U.K. Royal Navy’s aircraft carrier HMS Prince of Wales. The event marks an important milestone in the development of the Mojave — as well as the wider family of Q-1 lineage drones — which hadn’t previously operated from an aircraft carrier, as well as for the Royal Navy, which is increasingly looking to harness the capability offered by uncrewed aircraft for its carrier force.

So this is a fairly big deal (at least for the UK), the first trial of a fixed wing, (capable-of-)ordnance-carrying drone, by far the largest UAV ever launched from a British aircraft carrier. This is, according to Naval News, the largest UAV ever operated from a non-US aircraft carrier.
