It seems that the tail rotor visible in the picture belongs to a highly modified version of the H-60, the chopper of choice of the special forces for more than 30 years. Aviation Week doesn't beat around the bush, claiming: "A previously undisclosed, classified stealth helicopter apparently was part of the U.S. task force that killed Osama bin Laden in Pakistan on May 1."
This would explain why the Seals wasted critically precious time to blew up the mysterious helicopter and why many experts had problems identifying its remains. It's unclear what Pakistan could have made of the downed chopper, but growing ties between Pakistani and Chinese armed forces could have made the destruction of such new machine a must. China and Pakistan, over the past two decades, have developed a multi role combat aircraft called JF-17 and an advanced trainer, the JL-8.

One of the most impressive things about Sunday's raid in Pakistan, was the way the Navy Seals managed to penetrate deep into Pakistan without being caught by Pakistani air defenses. Now it looks like a super secret stealth helicopter may be behind this embarrassing security lapse.
The helicopter crashed during landing, and while the team took measures to destroy it before leaving, they missed the tail rotor section which had broken off and fallen outside the compound wall.
On Monday local children were seen picking up pieces of the silver loaded infrared suppression covering used on the tail rotor surfaces, before Pakistani authorities came and trucked away the remaining bits. Now there is concern that the highly classified materials are on their way to Pakistan's friends in China.
The military aircraft geeks over at Aviation Week say that it appears to be a previously unknown highly modified version of the H-60 Blackhawk, with special coverings designed to reduce its noise, radar, and infrared cross section.

Helihopter je unisten termitom ili standardnim eksplozivom pre nego sto je uradjena evakuacija. Po tome sto je rep zavrsio izvan zidina verovatno je doslo do loma uzgona i/ili loma glavnog rotora. Po tome koliko naoruzanih ljudi je bilo unutar zidina ne verujem da su imali imalo problema sa pucnjavom po njima. Vise lici na gresku pilota ili tehnicku gresku.
Ipak im je opcija br.1 bila pametnija, posaljes B2 dignes sve u vazduh pa kome opanci kome obojci. Ovako ispada da svakoj vojnom akcijom omogucavaju suparnicima da smanje troskove za R&D koji je jedini znacajan trosak pri celom postupku proizvodnje, sve drugo je stancanje
