M-346 (T-100) nema nikakve sanse. Nema te letne perfromanse a iako zahtev na papiru nije nadzvucni avion, pored T-50 verujem da su i ostala dva dizajna od nule, nadzvucna, a to ce biti sve bitnije jer F-35 i F-22 nemaju dvosede. I sto kazu pricalo bi se onda da je USAF kupio JAK-130
Svodi se na to da li preferiraju T-50A ili novi dizajn.
T-50A ispunjava sve zahteve dodatno je unapredjen za ovo, neke i prevazilazi, nadzvucan je, u upotrebi 10 godina, ima i lako naoruzanu i borbenu verziju, izvezen u vise zemalja. Lokid bukvalno moze "sutra" da krene da ih sklapa a cena je sigurna...
Ono sto malo "smrdi" je da su pomerili IOC sa 2022. na 2024. a pre mesec-dva su objavili da nagradjuju novcano svaki parametar koji prevazilazi postavljene zahteve( to dodatno stavlja ekser u kovceg T-100)

Za sada u zahtevima se insistira na napadnom uglu i ustaljenom zaokretu. Evo zahteva za sada https://www.scribd.com/document/259347717/T-X-KPP Pa moguce da su Northrop i Boeing/SAAB mogli da prave svoje avione od nule sa tim na umu...
Pitanje je samo da li ce ici na KISS i uzeti T-50A ili na sto moze jednostvano kada moze komplikovano pa se zezati sa novim dizajnom... Za to vreme T-38 samo sto ne krenu da se raspadaju u vazduhu...

T-50 je tu neprikosnoven zbog vec pomenutih stvari....
Ali stvarno mi ovi iz Northropa nisu razumljivi...
Ljudi jos od 83 imaju gotov projekat F-20
Koga mogu da prerade u dvosed.
On bi parirao T-50 sa kojim deli isti motor...
Ali oni sad izbaciju prakticno laki avion tj F-5 sa jednim motorom 404 bez KDS od otprilike 50kN,
koji nije bolji od F-20,verovatno idu na jeftini cas leta.
Jeste delta i to jaca

Cede drenovinu, nova zamena krila na T-38
Citat:Air Force Materiel Command is looking to replace the wings on the service’s aging T-38 trainers. The command issued a sources sought synopsis Tuesday to notify interested contractors of an upcoming buy, which is expected to result in a five to 10-year contract that will call for 12 to 24 wings per year. The service expects to replace the T-38 Talon, first produced in the 1960s, with a new trainer, dubbed the T-X, that will reach initial operational capability by 2024.
