Northrop Grumman, MBDA and Saab Demonstrate the Integration of Disparate Missile and Radar Systems into Integrated Air and Missile Defense Battle Manager
Citat:Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC), MBDA and Saab have successfully completed a joint, collaborative effort to demonstrate the ability to integrate MBDA’s Common Anti-air Modular Missile (CAMM) family and Saab’s Giraffe radar system family into Northrop Grumman’s Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Battle Command System (IBCS). CAMM was the first non-U.S. missile system to be demonstrated with IBCS earlier this year, and Giraffe represents the first non-U.S. sensor system to be demonstrated.

Thales UK gets £98.4M UK Armed Forces STARStreak SHORAD contract
Citat:The contract will provide availability and support to the UK’s STARStreak and the new lightweight multi-role missile SHORAD ground based air defense (GBAD) systems, as well as support to live firing training activities at the Royal Artillery Range out to 2026.
SHORAD is made up of high velocity and lightweight multi-role missile systems that can intercept air threats including fast jets, attack helicopters and unmanned air systems in a matter of seconds.
Thales UK won the initial contract in 2018, helping to modernize and develop the missile systems as part of the Future Air Defence Availability Project (F-ADAPT). This latest announcement confirms a five-year extension to the contract, sustaining over one hundred jobs at Thales UK’s Belfast site and within the wider Northern Ireland supply chain.

Nastavak testiranja CAMM-ER
Citat:MBDA at the Quirra experimental Fire Range, succesfully completed a new test for a CAMM-ER SAM missile with an intercept & destroy of a manouvering flying target.
This system have active radar seek on Ku band, a cold launch system and a + 40km of range.
The CAMM-ER will replace the ASPIDE system in the MAADS (Medium Advanced Air Defense System) of the Italian Air Force and in the GRIFO system of the Italian Army.
The device is also integrated into the ALBATROS NG Naval System.

I tako saznasmo koliko ciljeva moze istovremeno da gadja, kada je uparen sa Giraffe-AMB radarom: celih 24.
