Citat:Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) subsidiary Elta Systems unveiled on 12 June a new version of its EL/M-2084 Multi-Mission Radar (MMR) that has been developed to counter emerging threats.
The MS-MMR still uses its main S-band radar to provide long-range air surveillance and fire control capabilities. This is integrated with a higher frequency radar, an active identification friend or foe (IFF) capability, an automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast (ADS-B) receiver, as well as passive electro-optical and signals intelligence (SIGINT) sensors. Passive sensors for detecting weapons being launched are also an option, according to IAI.

Czech Republic inks $125M contract for Israeli radar system Citat: Israel and the Czech Republic has signed a $125 million government-to-government contract for advanced radar systems from Israel Aerospace Industries subsidiary Elta Systems.
The deal, signed by Israeli Ministry of Defense officials and their Czech counterparts during a ceremony Thursday, is for eight ELM-2084 multimission radars, a technology used for Israel’s Iron Dome and David’s Sling air defense systems as well as the Barak missile system.

Israel Delivers Eighth and Final MADR 3D Radar to Czechia Citat:All eight MADR 3D radars purchased by the Ministry of Defense in the government-to-government regime from the State of Israel have arrived in the Czech Republic. The contract was concluded under the previous management of the department, led by the then minister Lubomír Metnar, in December 2019. The soldiers who were destined for the last piece of radar received it last week.

Radars will be introduced in the equipment of the 26th Command, Control and Reconnaissance Regiment. Five radars will be located on stationary military sites for the benefit of the NATO Integrated Air and Missile Defence System (NATINAMDS). The remaining three will be available for the protection of strategic objectives and objects important for the defense of the state within the framework of the national emergency air defense system of the Czech Republic (NaPoSy PVO ČR) and further to achieve the obligations of the Czech Republic towards NATO allies.
